What is

Zoho

?

This Zoho pricing guide is a comprehensive resource aimed at any business considering subscribing to the Zoho platform. With information on Zoho costs, platform features and subscription tiers, this guide will help you decide whether Zoho is the right solution for your business. At the end of the page, we’ll also compare Zoho to three alternative platforms. Vertice can save you time and money on your SaaS operations, regardless of the solutions you need.

What Zoho can do for you

Zoho is an integrated office suite platform covering finance, HR, marketing, IT and sales operations. With over 55 applications on the Zoho platform, the solution is suitable for businesses of all sizes. Customers can pick and choose the features they need or opt to subscribe to Zoho’s comprehensive solution – Zoho One.

Zoho splits its platform into five core suites, with individual pricing available on each suite. Here are those five suites and what they offer:

CRM Plus

Zoho’s CRM Plus suite unifies all customer-facing teams into one platform to improve the overall customer experience. Some main features include:

  • Promote your business and engage prospects by sending tailored emails and newsletters attached to campaigns;
  • Track and engage all website interactions with proactive chatbots, highlighting promising customers and categorizing them as leads;
  • Use the Zeus tool to determine the best time to contact leads, boosting conversion rates;
  • Create projects and assign tasks across multiple teams to meet specific customer requirements;
  • Monitor mentions and customer issues on social channels, organize them instantaneously, and respond with a pre-determined appropriate course of action;
  • Review analytics of all your customer-facing teams on one interface.

Finance Plus

From invoicing to order management and accounting, streamline all your back-office operations with Finance Plus:

  • Create professional invoices, send automatic payment reminders and process online payments;
  • Automate your expenses approval workflow, making it easy for employees to claim reimbursements and ensuring all expenses are processed in the right account;
  • Make informed business decisions based on real-time information flow between all your back-office apps;
  • Manage multiple users across multiple departments through a single administrative console.

People Plus

Manage the entire employee lifecycle in the People Plus suite to unify employee experiences:

  • Streamline your recruitment pipeline and hire the best talent with candidate sourcing and an advanced applicant tracking system;
  • Invest in your people through onboarding, performance management, 360-degree feedback and training management features;
  • Integrate time, roster, payroll, document and expense management into one platform to make better decisions.

Marketing Plus

Unify all your marketing activities, engage audiences across multiple channels, and increase the ROI of your marketing spend:

  • Coordinate marketing efforts across your teams to ensure all channels, messaging and collateral are part of high-impact campaigns;
  • Plan and execute any marketing campaign you want: emails, SMS, webinars, events, surveys, social media and presentations;
  • Create activities, assign tasks, track progress and collaborate with your team in order to handle multiple campaigns at once;
  • Store all your marketing assets in one place for easy access and to help plan the next campaign;
  • Integrate data from all marketing operations to capitalize on powerful analytics tools;
  • Deliver tailored campaign content based on customer behavior such as channel use, interests, and how they’ve engaged with your company;
  • Set budgets at campaign, brand and activity levels to monitor spend across the board.

Workplace

The Zoho Workplace suite centralizes your team, simplifies file storage and streamlines communication:

  • Provide context from sales, marketing and finance instead of pursuing multiple apps;
  • Mobilize business tools that enable activity across locations, devices and apps so your workers can perform wherever they are;
  • Use the Writer, Sheet and Show tools to share documents with team members and allow them to contribute their thoughts;
  • Host meetings, conferences and webinars regardless of your location, then store, share and collaborate on files in the cloud.

  • Professional: $6pppm ($7 billed monthly).

The Standard plan contains 30GB of mail storage and 10GB of WorkDrive storage per user alongside video conferencing for up to 100 participants.

The Professional plan raises capacity to 100GB of mail storage, archive storage and WorkDrive storage per user. There’s also room for up to 100 video conference attendees.

New Workplace customers have access to a 15-day free trial of the Professional plan.

Zoho pricing — Zoho One

The Zoho One platform integrates all suites (except Finance Plus) under one subscription. It’s designed to overhaul a patchwork of existing solutions, including cloud applications, legacy IT systems and paper-based processes.

In terms of costs, Zoho One offers the most economical pricing plan, with subscriptions coming in two formats:

  • All Employee Pricing: $37pppm billed annually ($45 when billed monthly).

This subscription must be purchased if all members of your team will be using the platform.

  • Flexible User Pricing: $90pppm billed annually ($105 when billed monthly).

This subscription can be purchased for any number of license users.

Zoho One customers must also choose from three support tiers: Free, Premium (costing 20% of the total license fee), and Enterprise (costing 25% of the total license fee with a 50 platform user minimum).

Zoho One comes with a 30-day free trial.

Additional Zoho costs to consider

People Plus

There are eight additional People Plus services available at an extra cost:

  • Zoho Expense Premium;

Other vendors offering office suite solutions

Zoho’s range of products arguably places it in a category of its own. There aren’t many solutions that carry the same level of cross-team functionality, but below are three alternative platforms to consider. At Vertice, we’re only interested in enhancing your IT procurement with the right software tools, regardless of what those might be.

Zoho pricing vs Salesforce

Used predominantly by sales and marketing teams, Salesforce is a CRM platform focusing on improving customer service experiences. It’s one of the most popular CRM platforms in the world, with organizations such as F1, John Lewis and Uber among its clientele.

Salesforce pricing is available in five tiers:

  • Starter: $25pppm;
  • Pro Suite: $100pppm;
  • Enterprise: $165pppm;
  • Unlimited: $330pppm;
  • Einstein 1 Sales: $500pppm.

Salesforce offers a 30-day free trial.

Zoho pricing vs HubSpot

Also offering an alternative to Zoho’s marketing and CRM tools is HubSpot — a platform widely used by small to medium-sized businesses.

For individuals and small teams, HubSpot pricing comes in three tiers:

  • Free (up to five users);
  • Starter: $15pppm;
  • Starter Customer Platform: $15pppm.

For businesses and enterprises, there are two advanced tiers:

  • Professional: $90pppm;
  • Enterprise: $150pppm.

HubSpot customers can access a 14-day free trial.

Zoho pricing vs Microsoft Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics is the closest direct competitor to Zoho in this list, with integrated products for sales, customer service, marketing, finance and operations.

Microsoft Dynamics pricing is based on the products you want to procure — visit this pricing page for more information. New customers have access to a 30-day free trial.

Zoho pricing — the Vertice verdict

If you’re looking to roll out a comprehensive office suite platform that can take care of multiple departments, Zoho more or less stands alone in that category.

Alternatively, if you just need advanced CRM capabilities, HubSpot and Salesforce offer outstanding platforms — but Zoho trumps them both in terms of versatility.

Microsoft Dynamics is closer to Zoho than the other two platforms discussed here, with additional features targeting supply chain management, fraud detection, and other areas.

Whichever solution you need, Vertice’s customer purchasing teams will help optimize contract negotiation. We leverage market intel from over 16,000 benchmarked vendors to ensure our customers never spend more than they should.

Our SaaS Purchasing Platform then helps you take control of your entire tech stack. The platform currently manages $3.4 billion across all our customers, saving between 20-30% in the average case.
